Finally open buds with ANC
Cannot stand in-ear tips — these actually quiet the Tube. Adaptive mode is the default; I forget I am wearing them.

AirPods 4 ANC is for people who hate silicone seals but still want Tube quiet. Fit is redesigned from gen 3 — try your ear shape before you assume open buds cannot isolate.

Worth a look
11,000+ ratings — H2 adaptive audio switches between ANC and transparency, conversation awareness ducks volume when you talk. No USB-C cable in the box.
Adaptive noise control, spatial audio, and a case small enough to forget in a jeans coin pocket.
Cuts train rumble and office HVAC better than gen 3 — not Pro-level seal, but impressive for plastic-in-ear. Wind still whistles on bike commutes.
Shorter stem and new contour — owners who failed gen 3 fit often succeed here. Still not for everyone; one ear slipping on a run is the common return reason.
Voice Isolation helps on windy platforms — tested against a vacuum in reviews and callers heard fine. Android users lose half the software tricks.
Tiny USB-C case charges wirelessly on a Qi pad. Five-minute top-up gives about an hour — handy before the commute home.
No USB-C cable in the box at this price stings. ANC model costs more than non-ANC — double-check the SKU. Android gets audio, not adaptive magic.

Recent write-ups on this exact kit (F7NP · 128GB). We kept the awkward bits — app pairing trips people up more than the video quality.

Mum called while I was hoovering — she had no idea. Conversation awareness when someone talks to me in the office is spooky-good.

Bass has actual punch now. Case is smaller and USB-C at last. Wish they included a cable for the money.

Gen 3 fell out on runs. These stay put walking but jogging one bud still works loose. ANC is not Pro-level but close enough.

Sound and ANC work on my Pixel but no adaptive audio or easy device switching. Fine buds, wrong ecosystem for full value.

Product is excellent. No USB-C lead in the box at £150+ feels cheap from Apple. Case speaker for Find My is genuinely useful.
Pair on iPhone first — firmware updates fix early ANC hiss that some launch units had.
Open the lid near your iPhone — run the firmware update in Settings before you judge ANC. Takes two minutes on Wi‑Fi.
Try adaptive first, then fixed ANC or transparency. Conversation awareness is brilliant in shops — turn it off if you podcast-record.
Grab a USB-C cable if you do not have one — the case does not include it. Wireless charging works but is slower overnight.
